I can't decide which it is
Not sure if the universe actually hates me or I have the crappiest luck. I had the chance to go to London on Friday for something which is only on that day and will never happen again. Mum gave me the money for the train as part of my Christmas present and as long as I didn't spend anything else, I was good to go. I was so excited, even made an attempt to make myself look slightly less like a corpse. This morning, an envelope dropped through the door containing a bill I wasn't expecting for, and here's the kicker, almost the exact amount of my train fare. I just burst into tears. I give up, I have had it. I don't know what I did, but it must have been really, really bad.
