The something old into something new is incredibly appealing I think, not to mention the not using newly mined silver, which is not a pleasant process by any means. I'm so looking forward to seeing what I can unearth in junk and antique shops, especially the lost and lonely single items of cutlery no-one wants and what they end up as!

I do! :D I just don't tend to make many 'off the cuff' so to speak, because if someone likes it but it doesn't fit it's problematic, but I can and do definitely make them.

Oh, congratulations!! :D Let me know if you want me to help out with that as I obviously know what rings I've made (more or less!) and it might be easier for me to collect examples and show you than you having to trawl through posts to find them.
