Japan earthquake
I know everybody will have heard about this by now, but I just felt the need to add my little bit. I don't really know anyone in Japan personally, although I have a couple of LJ friends who I'm waiting to hear about and in the meantime, my hope and concern goes out to the people of Japan. I hope that the death toll doesn't go much higher, although I fear it will, and that recovery is swift.
Edit: I posted this before I'd watched the footage and saw how horrendous it really is. It looks like the hope the death toll won't go much higher is going to be a vain one given the sheer destruction from both the quake and the tsunami. Hell.
