My first trip of the entire summer outside a five mile radius.
I'm going to Boston and then Canada for a few days! The places themselves don't excite me...we'll probably end up at some shrine again or L'Oratiore, but getting out for another road trip is exciting. I love road trips. I'm the sort of person who spends days before we leave preparing and makes at least three carefully coordinated CD mixes for the car.

We made an offer on a house in St. Albans, nearby Tati's, and just as we were about to clinch the deal, some other guy calls in and offers $5,000 more. I was out for blood. I wished slow, painful, tortuous deaths on this person I have never met for stealing my house out from under my nose just as I could already see what color I was going to paint the walls.
And so the hunt continues.
