Went and saw Blade II last night. Not really sure how I feel about it. It was so over the top that I had a hard time suspending disbelief enough to enjoy the fight scenes. They replaced the actors with CG animated models a few times, and it was glaringly obvious - they moved too fast and far too fluid for the human anatomy. That aside, it was ( Read more... )

That was definitely the one thing I didn't like about Harry Potter. The CG wasn't as believable as I would have liked.

So is the verdict "wait for video?"

That's hard to say. I'm glad I saw it-- just don't go into it with too high of an expectation.

Hmm...That seems to be the formula for a lot of movies these days. Alright, I'll take it all with a grain of salt. I will probably end up waiting for video though...I can never seem to make the movie times work.

I don't think there was anything on screen that demanded the big screen, so that's probably a safe bet.
