volunteer geeks?
I got myself an account on Wagn (like Wiki, but like databases) so I could start setting up a user-edited database of local food sources in the region--so people could search on a particular kind of food (butter, blueberries, hot dogs) or venue (restaurant, store, farmer's market, etc.) to find locally grown/raised/prepared food.
I think I could figure out to to use Wagn once installed, but the problem is the installation. I don't think it's really that hard, but the instructions assume basic unix competence, which I sadly don't have. And neither I nor the 100 mile diet folks have the $ to have them set it up and host it for us.
Anyone feel like this is something they'd be inspired to help with?
