1. People at school are so used to seeing me hyper and jolly that they expect me to be hyper all the time, even when I'm feeling ill or down or just tired ( Read more... )

That sucks.
People like categorizing. You just get labelled as 'the hyper one' and then when you don't act or react in the same way every time people get uncomfortable. Bloody stupid, but that's humans for you.

Describes what happened to me when I was in High School.. But when I got held back and I came to Iceland.. I tried to show more sides of my personality so it wouldn´t get "Stuck" again.. Also didn't let people on that I did well in school..

It does suck :( Sorry..

It was actually worse back in elemantary school when I still was a straight-A student and got labelled as "the nerd from Germany". In comparison, being "the hyper one" is not so bad.

What always feels the weirdest to me is to go from one thing to the other in a matter of seconds, or even two things at the same time... Like when I'm in maths class and my teacher has decided to hate me because I'm lazy and she happens to have a rule which says lazy=dumb=excrement - while I'm sitting next to Sigríður who often gives me the impression that she thinks I'm some kind of genius rock star. Truth is: I am intelligent in my own "special" way, and am lazy and chaotic so I don't use my potenial as most others would.

Unrelatedly, I keep getting the feeling you might like this webcomic. Keep an eye out for Exoth, I think you'll like him: http://icomix.com/maze/comicpage/index1.html
