If I hadn't been sick for the past two days, I could have used them to do work, instead of being stressed out now about all the things that I have to do. Super-crap!
Right. I need to finish reading Great Expectations and The Mayor of Casterbridge no later than Friday, so I can join my friends to go to a vintage fair in Brontë-land on Saturday with a clean conscience. On Sunday I might go over summaries of the other books and notes from class to be fully prepared for the exam on Monday morning.
But I also need to finish my case study of the history of larping in the UK for Tuesday. And since I didn't go to the tutorial yesterday as I should have [insert images of me violently knocking my head into a wall], I'm going to have to e-mail the teacher and ask her if my subject choice is okay. If it isn't, I have to find a different one and find resources on it in record time [insert images of me doing a poor imitation of Edvard Munch's The Scream].
Luckily my other assignment isn't due until Friday next week, so I won't concentrate on that one just yet. After that deadline I have the whole weekend to pack and arrange stuff for my departure. I'm flying from Manchester straight to Keflavík with no stops inbetween. This means that at least I won't have a lot of travel headaches. Just a train from Bolton to Manchester airport, get into a plane and then be picked up by my fatherly unit on Keflavík airport. Such a beautifully simple plan.
The weather today is lovely, so I think I'm going to grab a bite to eat, take a shower and then sit outside in the grass to read some Dickens. Yes.
