UPDATE
So the weekend is almost here. I have like a ton of stuff to do this weekend.
First off.. I'm a rushee! Hehe. Yes, I'm rushing for Sigma Alpha Iota. At first, I was gonna wait til next semester to go out for a bid, but I decided that I'm gonna go for it this time around. I went to the two rush parties on Tuesday and Wednesday night, and I had a blast at both ocassions! Everyone was so nice and courteous! The PJ party Wednesday night was hilarious. I've heard my share of laughable stories... Hehe. My fellow rushees are also a great group of girls. It's gonna be hard to see who will get a bid. I can tell that we're all just nervewrecked about this. Monday night is Formal Tea, and I gotta get myself ready for that. I'm SO nervous! I'm still at odds on whether I want to do a singing piece or a saxophone piece. I'm just boggling my mind with that. I'm sure I'll have that figured out very soon.
Classes are getting better. I'm getting back into the swing of getting out of bed. Although, I have been late to one class already and have skipped a class already, but I won't be doing much more of that this semester. I'm gonna try to keep myself in check as far as school.
Tomorrow is my roommate Chenita's 18th birthday. First of all, I can't believe she's just now turning 18. Makes me feel like uber old... but not so much. I've adopted her as my little sister though. She's really sweet. We've been getting along very well. She's hanging in there in the flute section as a rookie this year. So I'm getting her a card, and I'm also going to take her to the Joke Factory tomorrow night so that she'll have a night of laughter. I think she'll have a blast being there.
BTW, Dixon Championship Poker starts TONIGHT! I've been waiting for this forever! Ya'll know how much of a poker whore I am. Hehehe...
