CostumeCon 30

May 21, 2012 17:38

We went to CostumeCon 30 in Phoenix. It was, as always, totally enjoyable and sent the creative imagination off in numerous wild tangents. It combines the best of hobby and fanish costuming, from historical to science fiction and fantasy. There are four days of classes, lectures and contest shows. New materials and techniques and incredibly talented artists abound.

This is a costume, not sculpture, a creature with an astonishing amount of personality, by Lance Ikegawa.

This was in the display of past costumes, by Nola Yergen-Jennings, fabulous!
