For my friends with paid accounts, don't pay for another year because paid accounts are going away next spring so they can force us to view ads.  (That is if we're not smart enough to figure out AdBlock, which we are, so...)

I was reading on the lj releases group and got to the end of page 12 (WHEW!), refreshed the page and in the time it took me to read page 12, it went up to 19 pages.  And I'm a pretty fast reader.  Not that I expect it will make any difference to them.  They are russian after all, and they are kind of used to the dictatorial model of government.

Stole this from a community on Journalfen. I am so mad. Y'all know I'm visually impaired so I read everything from my FL and have the gigantic font so I can see. Well, LJ is taking away our FL customization. Yep. You heard right. Our FLs are all going to look the same, and that same is unreadable when you are visually impaired.

I'm tired of hearing idiots saying "a pant" rather than "a pair of pants." There's no such thing as "a pant" unless you're talking about a dog who breathed heavy one time.

I hate this forced change so much. I can't find any of the buttons. When I go to send an email I have to hunt around for 3 minutes or so to try to find the freaking SEND button. I don't know why they changed it to this crap. Google used to be a good company, but frankly, I think they have become evil like they said they wouldn't. :(

They just interrupted my (commercial free) music channel for an energizer battery commercial using the Emergency Alert System. Yes, you heard right, there was an emergency energizer battery commercial.

I hate McAfee software. It came with this computer and I've been using it for a while but today it "updated" the software and wouldn't work correctly after that. I tried everything their help page said but finally decided to just ditch the piece of crap and get Avast like I have on my other computer ( Read more... )
