Links & updates
...and maybe some rants, so beware
I sort of updated the gazillion mirror links provided by kind lj users for the AniS & Arafes DVD posts. My inbox had 400+ messages and upon skimming over, I guess at least half (?) are comments saying links are not working/dead/broken. I wasn't able to read all of them coz' I was eager to clean up my inbox (read: delete notifications). So if you provided mirrors and they weren't updated in the post, uhm, sorry?
Filecloud
Upon checking my filecloud account, Arafes DVD Disc 2 miraculously disappeared. The rest are still intact. Aside from AniS & Arafes, there were comments saying the links are dead/broken for this post. If you click the above link, pic shows files are still available, so they are not broken/unavailable. If you can't download from FC because of server problems (e.g. FC itself has problems) be patient, wait and try again. Try at least 100 times. Just because you can't download once means you won't be able to download anymore. There are people who persevered and believe them, it will work after some time. Filecloud is my filesharing server choice for now. Mediafire is already out of the question, and FC is better than minus.com. So, whether you like it or not, I'll upload in FC coz' it's the best choice for me now. (I'm trying Zippyshare, but let's see since I'm lazy)
BTW, I also checked my Minus account and files (All or Nothing, Darts Trip, etc) are still there. Again, they are not broken.
Providing mirrors
I'm thankful to those who were kind enough to provide mirrors. Now, since it's actually tiring to update (and I'm a lazy person to boot) for every mirrors that pop out, I want to have only selected people to provide mirror links. You might argue that the more the merrier, but please understand that I want to control what I share. So before everything goes out of control, with lots of mirror links being provided, it's time for me to limit them.
If you officially want to be a mirror provider for every download post I will make, please comment with the mirror you are ready to provide (e.g. if you will provide Mediafire, 4shared, 2shared, etc..). I'll have two persons for every mirror. So if two already volunteered for 4shared, I'll only post their links. For Mediafire provider, please make sure every one will be able to download the links. I no longer know how Mediafire works, btw, so I'll leave it to the volunteers. Also, just to make things clear, I wil not e obliging you (the volunteers) to provide mirror for every download post that I will make. It is your freedom whether you want to provide mirrors. But, I will be only accepting mirror links of the people who volunteered/commented in this post. If you are not one of those, I won't accept the links.

Can't extract files/password problem
I try everything before I upload including passwords, so there's no way the passwords are wrong. If you are having problems extracting, the only possible reason I can come up with is you didn't download the files completely (in other words, your download is incomplete, the file size is incomplete, everything else is incomplete). I experienced that many times before so every time I download zip/rar files I make sure they are completely downloaded (1 KB can make a difference). Otherwise I wouldn't be able to extract them. If you think this is not the reason, you may google the answer to your question or check this link.
Patience is a virtue
Or so a saying says, so those who failed downloading once and immediately commented that they can't download/links are broken and oh please reupload, I ask you to be patient and try again or use other mirrors. Subbing is something I enjoy. Just because. However it's not something that I am obliged to do. Sooner or later, I will stop because I can get busy in RL, too. So while I'm at it, I try to enjoy it as much as possible. BUT, I have to say, there were comments that stressed me, especially the repetitive ones. So sometimes, I just clean up my inbox without reading comments. 'll try to check FC once in a while if my files are still available, but as far as FC is concerned, links don't expire, so I really love it.
I also would like to appreciate those who always comment to say thank you. At least that balances the stressful ones. Also those who try things on their own, use google and find answers on their own, I salute you.
But anyway, tldr; To summarize, I upload files in FC (for now). Be patient. If you want to provide mirrors, leave a comment.
