Baker...
I'll make this short, but all week I've been craving beef barley soup and honey spice cookies (not together.) Well I made the soup in the crock pot and it was so awesome! And today when I got home from work I had to make these friggin cookies because nothing in the world would be right until I did. THEY ARE SO GOOD. They are absolutely perfect with a cup of tea, which is of course what I'm having. Yay for satisfying cravings!
The next craving I need to satisfy is the knitting craving, however I am currently too broke to buy yarn, but when I have money again...after both Subarus are fixed and all the bills are paid and cupboards are full...then....oh, the knitting that will be had!
Randomly, I had a dream about my grandma. It also involved some monster truck style driving into a building, but grandma was in it, and she was exactly the way I remember her. Made me happy instead of sad, which is a nice change. I need a new userpic and template (do they still call them that? lol) for this livejournal, since I don't think either has changed since I was in college SIX YEARS AGO. Oy. I reread some entries from 2009 and the beginning of 2010....I was wrong about 2010, it was NOT the year of the house, nor did I cook risotto (I really will soon though!). I can say that I think I AM more "green" than I was, thus farther on my goal of self sufficiency. Frank is still wonderful :)
Oh, this year I also want to stop buying bread. I am going to make all my own as soon as this loaf is gone, which I actually had a couple pieces out of, so in another couple days it should be completely moldy since we NEVER eat bread.
Alright, enough, onward to more playing on the internet and eating cookies with my tea!
