amagicalworld is a Harry potter RPG. It takes place after OotP and is for an older crowd so 15 yrs and older.
"How is Jessica? Is she doing any better?" Oliver asked his once-good mate, Fred. There had been some tension when Oliver had messed things up with his ex-fiance, Sonnet, and then Fred had professed his undying love for her. They had been together ever since.
"She's better, I guess. She keeps getting the purple heaves. Sonnet says it's from the candies I leave around her. I think Jessica had them before I arrived on the scene. You know anything about them?"
"No, mate, sorry..." Oliver trailed off as Sonnet appeared from the back of the shop, having been breaking down the boxes from the fall shipments. He stared at what he could have had, knowing fully that he could never return to that moment in time. He regretted everything, every moment he spent on tour over the summer, away from the woman that he loved, away from everything he was familiar with. He was so lucky to have Katlyn, the one person in the world that didn't let him down when others wouldn't stand by him. She was a true friend.
Sonnet kissed Fred on the cheek and Oliver winced. "Hello, Sonnet," he said stiffly. She nodded curtly to him.
Sonnet was torn between the man she loved and the man she once loved. Just as she was moving on with her life, just as she was getting settled and in tune with her new love and her new job, Oliver had to come back and ruin it all. She hated him and loved him.
George sensed the discomfort between his twin, his close mate, and his twin's girlfriend. George hated situations like this. Ever the good friend, he tried to make everyone happy. "Firewhiskey on me at the Three Broomsticks!" Not that he had the money to spare, but his cordial nature required this.
***later, at the Three Broomsticks***
Laughing and enjoying their third round of firewhiskey, Katlyn, Fred, George, Sonnet, and Oliver were getting fairly loaded.
"...and then Filch found us! I couldn't believe it!..." Fred had just finished another Fred-and-George-outwit-Filch story. Sonnet laughed and kissed him. Oliver couldn't take it anymore. He had to know. He couldn't go any further without wondering what would have been. He pulled her by the arm and planted a sloppy intoxicated kiss on her lips. At that moment, Fred got so unnerved, he threw a poorly placed right hook to Oliver's jaw.
"Thaaaaat's nooooot faiiirrr...." Oliver drawled. He turned around, right into George. He looked right into George's eyes. "Yeeer sooo preeeetty," he drawled again, and proceeded to kiss George as well.
"All right, Romeo, it's time to go," Katlyn, the least intoxicated (and most amused) one of the group, supported Oliver's small limp frame to floo back to her apartment. She'd dump him on her couch and go to bed. She managed to get him into the giant fireplace to floo back to her place.
Fred and Sonnet took arms as George paid the tab. "Fred, I'm sorry, I-" "It's okay. He wants what I have. Just don't give me a reason to suspect that you reciprocate." She stumbled as they walked to the fireplace to floo.
"Damnit, I forgot to lock the door again. I'll see you at home, Fred," said George. He did his best sober impression as he stumbled back to the shop. When he got there, he was in such a state of shock, he couldn't believe what he saw. The door was opened, and Lucius Malfoy stood there, as if he were waiting for George...
