March has been a drag. I've been home for three weeks with lumbago. Which means that you can't sit, you have to lie down or walk about. Fortunately the weather was bad the hole time, snow and freezing cold so it was nice not to have to leave the house.I have watched all soap operas there is on Swedish and Danish TV, I'm almost addicted now. Well, I got better and started to work again....for two days...then I got the flue and had to stay home again for a week. Yesterday I went back to work for one day and then Easter vacation started. In Sweden we are free friday, saturday, sunday and monday. Today was the first really warm and sunny spring day for this year and people were out crowding the cafes and parks.
Last night I went to a baroque concert with some friends and after wards we started our Easter with wine and cheese at my friends place. Last week we went to Copenhagen to see the opera Julius Caesar by Handel.(between my illnesses) Four and a half hours of pure joy. Excellent singers and musicians and also funny. The Danish Queen and her Consort,in their Royal loge, seemed to enjoy it. Well, there were a bit of nudity .......and his Royal Highness liked that...
Tomorrow I'm playing my first golf round with cousin Inger and her husband Anders. After that I'm having Easter lunch with mother.I hope the weather will bee as nice as it was today. On Sunday I've promised to sing at a service in a church where they are in need for some extra sopranos in the choir. Happy Easter everyone!
