More Crown Fun
1) Turning around from the finals eric to see Augustus/Lukey standing alone in the middle of the other eight erics (with no one else around)clad in his scale armor, Daddy's gauntlets, his yellow fighting helmet with the green "Viking" horns on it- thrusting his sword high in the sky as if challenging anyone to deny his claim to those lands. Soooooo, heroic!
2) Having our banner bearers from the processional refuse to go put the banners down during Tiernan's fights- they were so proud to help cheer Tiernan on and stand by my side. Wow! That was uplifting and created such a sense of goodness and presence.
3) Best- Augustus/Lukey coming off the before mentioned erics to learn that no one could fight him since we were waiting for Owain and Octamasades to fight the final round. Obviously feeling his manly testosterone coursing his veins and needing to pick on the most ferocious opponent out there, he marched over to Owain whilst still clad in his fighting ensemble and pointing his sword at Owain proclaimed, "I challenge you for the Crown!" Owain, taken off guard responded, "Well, I've got to win it first Dude!". Luke's looking for that fight- Owain owes him :) This is extra funny since both Ben and Luke just made piece with Owain at Sport of Kings. You see, they have had it out for him since Uncle Rod's knighting. They came unglued at Owain for giving Rod the smack during the ceremony- Uncle Rod being their best friend and all :) Ever since then, they've scouted him out and given him the evil eye stating that he's on the "bad side" or "bad team". But, we've got that straightened out now.
4) My Baroness, the lovely Reginleif, making the trek out to support her Stromgardians in the finals of the Equestrian Championship. It's good to be loved :)
5) Having Alina, Amice, Raul, and Anna come traipsing over to assist unloading and setting up at 9 pm on Friday night in the dark. They saved us! It was dark and both boys were tired from wandering with me in the dark trying to find Tiernan (we had driven separate rigs with trailers and had gotten lost).
