Pre-gluttony Wednesday?

Happy early Thanksgiving to all of you. I hope that those of you who have traveled or will be traveling have safely done so.
This year will be a small Thanksgiving with my immediate family. I am in charge of bringing a dessert. So I baked a Pecan Pie. I love Pecan Pie, so this is perfect. It's not the prettiest pie I've ever baked, but I'm sure it will taste delicious nonetheless.
Today at work two women asked me if I was cooking this year. I never cook - I am always the company who takes home the leftovers. I was just surprised at the question, but these woman didn't know me very well, I guess. Both of them were cooking, and, after all, the question was really more about them than it was about me.
