I imagine the original video was filmed for the benefit of the "patient," so he could view the "procedure" after the fact. The affected area is on his back, making it impossible for him to view it in real time.
Why they decided to share it on YouTube, I will never know. Why there are also so many other related videos with similar procedures as well makes me wonder about the human race in general.
