You guys are comic people, right? Let's say I'm interested in checking out some Young Avengers and some Nightwing stuff. Where should I start? I have no clue with Young Avengers. With Nightwing, I am mostly interested in anything involving Dick Grayson post-Robin, whether he's Nightwing or Batman, though I've only read him as Bats once and I am

Okay so. Luckily for you, everything you would ever possibly need to know about the Young Avengers has been collected into TBPs for our poor, comic-loving selves, and can be bought really cheap online :DDD. They are as follows:
Young Avengers Vol 1: Sidekicks - The first collection of the first limited series, which introduces everyone and is basically adorable. The sort of book you pull out on bad days to make you feel better.
Young Avengers Vol 2: Family Matters - Obviously the second volume. Drama! More adorableness, especially on the parts of Billy and Teddy! It will make you want to hug kittens.
Civil War: Young Avengers/Runaways - If you know anything about the Runaways, you'll love this (despite the Civil War sadfacedness), and if you don't, you should totally go check them out, because they are made of sunshine and rainbows and drama, but it's totally not required for understanding what's going on. I'm not nearly as knowledgeable about Runaways as I am about YA, but I got into YA because of Runaways and this mini in particular.
Young Avengers Presents - Not actually a story but a collection of little stories revolving around the team members. Bucky shows up, I think, maybe briefly, uhh. (And Billy and Teddy almost kiss but then Marvel chickened out. DISAPPOINT.)
Secret Invasion: Runaways/Young Avengers - More Runaways, now with 100% more alien invasion. Everyone kicks ass and takes names.
Dark Reign: Young Avengers - Aaand the most recent shenanigans before Children's Crusade. This isn't my favourite story in particular, just because it's Dark Reign-- it's not as warm-and-fuzzy as the previous ones, and it's well-told but not exclusively focused on the team, which kind of sucks. But! The team gets to kick Norman Osborn's Avengers' asses at the end, so that's pretty awesome.
And then we have Children's Crusade, which I still haven't read but hopefully will have by the end of the day. DDD: EVERYTHING IS REQUIRED READING, BTW. YOU MUST READ ALL OF IT. ALL OF IIIIT. and you will love it trust me. <3

I DON'T EVEN, I don't even, seriously, all I know is that I am pretty sure roleplaying with you would be absolutely kickass, even if I was roleplaying a black bear and you were roleplaying a swarm of angry hornets, or something.
idk it should be magical, though. Not magical like it should involve magic, just it needs to be ~*fabulous*~. It could also involve magic though, I suppose.
