i had my first accident today. at the train station, yael was in the car, i was waiting for mama farber's train to get in. i was waiting alongside a curb, behind someone else, and the bus behind me honked, cause it couldn't get around. so i pulled out, overestimating how much room i had, and hit the car in front of mine's fender. the woman flipped ( Read more... )

don't feel so bad... listen to what I did:

I was backing out of a parking space in a really busy lot in town. I checked all my mirrors, nobody was there, so I started to go. On my way out, my mom told me I was going too fast. I thought my foot was on the brake. Well, it wasn't. I went speeding backwards into the side of a car with two old ladies who I scared half to death.

Aww I love you. I popped 2 tires in my moms car (at the same time) when i was first driving and you know what i did 1-800 call daddy haha! dont worry about it... everyone was fine and you cant think about the what ifs. Its more important that everyone was fine and it wasnt a big deal, and if she was parked illegally anyways... Love you mir

Here's the kicker: Two years ago at Hanukkah, I tried to pull into the garage in my mom's van and scraped the side of the van against the garage, beating up the car and the garage. Then I was accident free for like a year... Then, a little before Thanksgiving the next year, there was a bad snowstorm and my friend nina was leaving for Israel and was having a going away party, so Mere the dumbass decided to go anyway... I drove my dad's brand new Pathfinder since it had better traction, backed out of my aunt's driveway, and backed right into my uncle's car... then, Christmas Eve, the night before I was supposed to fly to St. Louis for MoValley's Winter Kallah, I was going to my grandma's to get some luggage, and backed out of the driveway RIGHT INTO our friend's car (which was in the driveway, I'm stupid)... so looking at all my accidents (yay driveway issues) I'd say that you did fine... and in all seriousness, I know you care about your sister, and I"ve thought the same thing about my brothers, but accidents happen, thank G-d nobody ( ... )
