Finally got around to watching Avatar and I still think it was nothing more than a big, expensive gun-toting Ferngully, without the fun fairies and singing to pass the time.

I've not wanted a film to end an hour before it actually did since The Return of the King. Sorry Mr Cameron, but your 3D blue film didn't do anything for me.

I went to see a preview of Sunshine on Tuesday, and all I can say is whoah!

This film reminded me why I'm such a film geek, and what it is about film that gets me all excitable. What Danny Boyle does with sound and light in this film is incredible. I don't know if I've been slacking on watching good films recently, but this is by far the most ( Read more... )
