Little Happies!
Konbanwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! It's freezing cold here in the great state of South Dakota and we've got about six inches of snow on the ground in my town. We almost couldn't get out of our yard because of the ice and there were several minor accidents in and around the town's outskirts.
However, despite this, I realized that happiness comes in tiny, little ways. I call these "Little Happies," and this is something that my co-workers have caught onto recently.
Basically, every day something small happens that you may not realize made you happy or you've always taken for granted. Lately, I've been making a point of not letting those moments pass by, but trying to appreciate them for all their worth.
My goal is in the month of December is try to list a daily "Little Happy" that has crossed my path or maybe has happened to someone else.
For now though, I'd like to share three "Little Happies" that happened to me today.
First, I received a beautiful Christmas Card from my dear friend, Moonie. She's very precious to me and it came just when I needed a lift.
Second, my Passport Book arrived today too. It was a great relief as I had some minor problems with the paperwork that was finally corrected.
Third, I was able to work on my G-Dragon cosplay today and actually got about 10% of it finished in one sitting, which was a nice start!
So, I'm grateful for these tiny little reasons to smile. It's not much, but it sure makes the day a smidge brighter, ne? I hope everyone else gets the opportunity to appreciate these small moments too!
