Well. I got bored. Also? I now have a permanent account. WOOT!

All stolen from uzumakisama! Yay! HI ALDY-CHAN! *wave* I miss you! ;_;

1.Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
6. Tag five people. (psha. as if.)

"Hooboy," Bob said. "Once more into the breech, dear friends, eh? Harry, don't quit your job to become a motivational speaker. I have your permission to come out?"

"Yep," I said, "for the purposes of this mission only. And don't waste time prowling around in women's locker rooms again."

I put out the candles and the heater and started up the stepladder. Bob followed, drifting out of the eyesockets of the skull as a glowing, candleflame-colored cloud, and flowed up the steps past me. The cloud glided over to where Mister dozed in the warm spot near the mostly dead fire, and seeped in through the cat's grey fur.

"Grave Peril: Book 3 of the Dresden Files", by Jim Butcher. Woot!

Heh. Silly Amy and her wizard books, eh?

So! Back In The Day (as the kids say), there was the time of the TPM chat. This means that one of my dearest and nearest friends was a guy from Wisconsin named Nathan. He and I would spend hours chatting -- online, on the phone, through good-old-fashioned snail-mail -- and we would come up with the weirdest things. Well, we went through a phase where we wanted complimentary screen names... just for fun, y'know? So there was the Cyber-twin ones (Kas and Kav)... But, as we were both completely obsessed with all things ancient Egyptian, we decided to make one with our two favorite Egyptian gods. But, obviously, we couldnt just pick "Isis" and "Osiris" -- they were already taken. So we gave each other another name to go with it -- something unique, something that would sound awesome. I was really into the band Bush at the time (still am, really), and Gavin Rossdale was like a god to me. So... Nathan became Gavin Osiris. One of his favorite actresses was Mira Sorvino... and thusly was born "Mira Isis". I loved it, still do, and it'll never go away.

And, finally, one of my favorite kind of memes (it involves music!)

List seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to. (So not tagging people!)

1. "Voodoo Child" - Rogue Traders -- So, they had this song in this past week's episode of Doctor Who (3x12 - "The Sound of Drums"). And... I instantly fell in love with it. It's an awesome song. I can't get it out of my head. So... now I'm listening to it... all the time.

2. "Born to Be a Dancer" - Kaiser Chiefs -- I rediscoverd the Kaiser Chiefs, and how much I loved them. This song cracks me up because of the lines "Once you asked me what I'm thinking / I lay back and think of England / Do you know my real answer? / I was born to be a dancer". They just make me laugh. And... think of this really odd fanfiction. Heh.

3. "Rehab" - Amy Winehouse -- This girl has an AWESOME voice. And this has to be my favorite song of hers. It makes me go nuts. I have to sing it at the top of my voice every time.

4. "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" - The Proclaimers -- Scottish twins! Red Nose Day! Johnny Depp! DAVID TENNANT! How can you not love this song? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!?!

5. "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" - Charlie Daniels & the Charlie Daniels Band -- ...Do I need a reason? "I done told you once, you son of a bitch, I'm the best there's ever been!"

6. "Tainted Love" - Soft Cell -- It's the song that plays on the iPod at the End of the World! *fangirlish giggling and squeeing!*

7. "Stop the World" - Riddlin' Kids -- I dunno. It's got a good beat. It's got some crazy lyrics. It's just cool.
