A/N: Wow, it's been a while o.o. Well, it's not like I died or anything. Work is always on my top list of when I suddenly go on a hiatus, lol. So, this is the chapter before the end. The end is kinda of, meh, but bare with me. This was suppose to be the end chapter, but it kept getting longer and longer, lol. I actually realized that I might have a bunch of side stories later on, like Wooyoung's and Nichkhun's drunk night, Junho's and Chansung's bet, and maybe Taecyeon's and Junsu's argument involving Jay. Don't know what I'm talking about the latter two? Well, just read below :D Warning: Grammar and spelling may be extremely horrible.... Anyways Enjoy~
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Wooyoung fell down, staring at the man in his doorway, feeling a little happy on the inside, but frightened at the same time. Millions of questions ran through his mind as he thought about why he was here. The man tilted over, reaching a hand out to him.
“Uh, sorry about that. You’re door was opened so I let myself in. I hope you don’t mind....too much....”
Wooyoung thinned his lips and felt his eyes on the verge of tearing up. He lifted up a hand and swatted at the man’s hand. “What do you want? Get out!”
Nichkhun frowned and crouched down onto the floor, placing his arms up on each side of Wooyoung. Wooyoung turned his head away from him and stared down at his stuffed panda.
Nichkhun let out a sigh. “Look, I know you don’t want to see the likes of me ever again, but I can’t do that. I can’t just--just walk away as you keep pushing me away. I want you, Woo. I need you more than you ever would know. I may be the most horrible person in your life, but at least I’m THE most horrible person in your life. I made you cried. I put you in such pain. I-I know. I’m not an idiot. I don’t want to hurt you anymore, but I’m not going to leave you. That’s why, I--”
“You’re not going to leave me? You left me earlier. Blamed me for things I haven’t done. Do you really know the pain you placed on me? You will never understand. I’m sick, Khun. Sick and tired of being crazy in love with you. Please release me from your hold. If things keep going like this, I-I might break...”
Wooyoung lifted up an arm and started to wipe at the tears he tried so desperately to stop. He didn’t want to cry in front of him. It made him felt weak and girl-ish, which he felt only around Nichkhun. Nichkhun grab onto his arm, pulling it down away from his face.
“Le-let me go!”
Nichkhun held Wooyoung’s arm away from his face and used his other hand to wipe at Wooyoung’s tears. Wooyoung stiffened under the touch, but didn’t dare to look up at him. “You ne-never listen to me. Please, just this once, leave me alone!”
Nichkhun leaned closer to him and placed his forehead onto Wooyoung’s. “I’m not leaving you.”
He leaned down and placed his lips onto Wooyoung’s.Wooyoung quickly took his free hand and slapped Nichkhun on the cheek. Silence surrounded them as the sound of the slap echoed in the apartment. Nichkhun let out a groan and rubbed at his cheek.
“Well, at least you didn’t hit my eye....”
Nichkhun let out a sigh and stood up, pulling Wooyoung with him. Wooyoung tried to pull his arm out of Nichkhun’s hold, but Nichkhun wasn’t letting go.
“Let me go. I hate you!”
“Well, I love you!”
Wooyoung froze from his struggle. “What?”
Nichkhun pulled Wooyoung into his room, leaving the door open and made him sit down on his bed. Wooyoung rubbed at his face, trying to clean it the best way he could before looking at Nichkhun. Getting a better view of Nichkhun, Wooyoung noticed the eye patched that covered his left eye. He moved his eyes a little lower and saw his right cheek puffy and red. He felt a pain of guilt, knowing he caused that mark. Wooyoung was pretty sure Nichkhun had activities soon and with his face bruised up, he wasn’t sure how he was going to do them.
Nichkhun rubbed at his cheek again. “Don’t worry about it. I deserved it, probably a lot more than this. But I do gotta say that Vic, hits harder than you.”
“Vic-ssi did that to your eye!?” Wooyoung gave Nichkhun a puzzled expression.
Nichkhun let out a soft chuckle. “Yea...I said some things that she didn’t like, but I don’t regret it. Anyways, enough about that.”
Nichkhun sat down in front of Wooyoung, grabbed his hand, and looked up at him. “I--”
“Why are you doing this?”
Nichkhun let out a sigh. “Because I love you. You probably don’t believe me, but I do.”
Wooyoung frowned and looked about in his room when he realized there were things in there that wasn’t his. “Are those your suitcases?”
“Yes. I’m moving in with you.”
“Wha--?!”
Nichkhun quickly moved to cover his mouth. “Shh, I know Chansung and Junho are downstairs.”
Wooyoung pushed his hand away and pushed Nichkhun back, making him fall on his butt. “Why? Am I just those people you decide to come to when things go wrong. Just apologize to her and she’ll forgive you. Just get out of my house.”
Nichkhun let out a frustrated sigh and rubbed at the back of his head. “I don’t want her forgiveness. I caused it all anyway. I broke up with her....”
“You broke up with her? Why?”
Nichkhun scuffed. “Seriously? I’m here, am I not? I’m telling you I love you. I’ve been slapped, cursed out, and shoved, but I still come back to you. Do I have to write everything out in your brain for you to realize that I need you and want only you? Hell, it makes me wonder why myself.”
Wooyoung stared dumbfounded at Nichkhun. To say that Wooyoung wasn’t jumping with joy and blasting away with fireworks inside, would be an understatement. Wooyoung was so damn happy, he wanted to attack this crazy man in front of him, kissing him all over. But instead of doing so, a small smile creeped on his face. He placed a hand to cover it, but Nichkhun caught it and pulled his hand down from his face.
Nichkhun smiled. “Now you understand.”
Wooyoung frowned and pushed Nichkhun back onto the floor again and stood up, not saying anything. He lifted up his hands as he felt tears coming back to his eyes. Nichkhun chose him.
Nichkhun slowly stood up, brushing himself off, and grabbed one of Wooyoung’s hand. Wooyoung looked at him, giving Nichkhun the chance to lean down and kiss him on his lips. Wooyoung didn’t respond right away as he debated between himself if he should hit him or not, but just as he decided, Nichkhun lifted up.
“I know deep inside you’re still going to be mad with me, but please forgive me and take me. I seriously can’t live without you.”
Wooyoung tilted his head to the side, wondering why he loved an idiot. He took his free hand and rubbed at Nichkhun’s bruised cheek. “Are you sure you’re not an idiot?”
Nichkhun sniffed and placed his head down onto Wooyoung’s shoulders as he felt tears come into his eyes. Even if he was an idiot, he couldn’t help it. Wooyoung was a chained book. He only let few people ever to access a little of himself and when you get a glimpse of it, he’ll shut himself away again. Still he was glad that Wooyoung allowed him to keep his book opened, allowing him to see everything that was to be kept hidden. He sniffed again as the soft touches of Wooyoung rubbed along his face. It made him feel happy, because with those soft touches meant that Wooyoung still loves him. He had so much built up guilt and worry from Wooyoung not forgiving him.
Wooyoung was surprised. He never thought he would be able to see Nichkhun cry. Where did his tough exterior go? It’s not like he was oblivious that Nichkhun did cry, it just he never cried around him. Wooyoung pulled Nichkhun down onto to the bed and sat down next to him. Nichkhun tried to cover his face, but Wooyoung was quick and grabbed his hands out of his face.
“Waeyo! I don’t want you to see me like this.”
Wooyoung rolled his eyes. “You see me in all my glory. All my emotions, all my expressions. Why can’t I see yours?”
Nichkhun frowned and decided not to say anything. Wooyoung was right. He let out a sigh and pulled Wooyoung to him. Wooyoung was a little shocked, but he didn’t mind. He had already forgiven Nichkhun, probably the moment he saw him in his room, because he came back to him. A little late, but nevertheless, he did.
“Hey, Woo.”
“Hmm?”
“You forgive me, right?”
“Yes, Babo.”
Nichkhun shifted a little, bringing his head a little lower towards, Wooyoung’s. “Can I kiss you again?”
Wooyoung let out a puffed of air. Nichkhun was too cute for his own good. He looked up at him and noticed a tint of red on both of his cheeks. Nichkhun wasn’t even looking at him, making him guess that he heard his laugh. Wooyoung moved out of Nichkhun’s arms.
He looked at Nichkhun and puffed out his cheeks. “No, you can’t.”
Nichkhun frowned. “Why not?”
Wooyoung felt like laughing. It was as if nothing even had happened between them. Wooyoung let out a sigh of relief, he felt happy. He leaned towards Nichkhun and pulled his left cheek that was still bruised. Nichkhun let out a yelp.
He released the cheek, making Nichkhun rub on it again. “Where’s my birthday present?”
“I’ve chose you, isn’t that the greatest present of all?”
Wooyoung raised an eyebrow. “Don’t you know I’m materialistic?”
Nichkhun laughed. “As if you ever could be, but if you’re not happy about it, I guess I can give you my back up present.”
“Guess? Oh no, you better.”
Nichkhun laughed. “Give me a kiss first.”
Wooyoung pouted. “If I have to kiss you for it, it may not be that great.”
Nichkhun shifted his eyes to the side, pouting a little. “I think it’s pretty great....”
Wooyoung leaned back towards him and kiss him softly on his bruised cheek. “There, now gimmie the present.”
Nichkhun smirked and leaped onto Wooyoung, laying nothing but sweet kisses all over his face.
“Oh my god, stop!” Wooyoung yelled, laughing.
Nichkhun didn’t stop as he loved the feel of Wooyoung, struggling in his arms. After a few more kisses, Nichkhun decided to lay one last one onto Wooyoung’s lips, but before he could, he was yanked hard back onto the hard floor.
“What the hell?” Nichkhun mumbled, looking up at who had pulled him.
Nichkhun paled at the figure staring, angrily down at him. “Jun-Junsu....”
“Long time no see, Nichkhun.”
Nichkhun gave him a dry chuckle and turn his attention back to Wooyoung who had a shocked expresssion on his face. The next
thing he saw Wooyoung did, was something he didn’t expect. A slow smile creeped on his face and he sprung his arms in the air and jumped onto Junsu, yelling out his name.
“Dude, where have you been!?”
Junsu smiled and hugged Wooyoung tight. “Traveling. Even though I’m busy, I couldn’t miss out on your birthday.”
Wooyoung squeezed him one last time and pulled away from him. “Well, I’m glad I’m special.”
“Of course. Sorry I barged in. I thought you was being attacked. Junho and Chansung said you been up here a little too long for a phone charger.”
“Things happened.”
Junho just hummed and turned his attention down at Nichkhun. “I don’t get a hug?”
Nichkhun smiled and quickly jumped up, hugging him. “Take me with you, next time.”
“Ha, and for you to be moping around, missing Wooyoung. I think not.”
“He can come to.”
“You gotta be kidding me. I don’t need your love everywhere I go.”
Nichkhun frowned and mumbled. “You still have Taec.”
“That’s besides the point. So I guess you two made up?”
Nichkhun and Wooyoung gave him a puzzled look. “How did you know?”
Junsu grabbed Nichkhun’s chin with one hand and lifted up the eye patch with his other hand, examining his eye. “Chanho.”
He softly touch Nichkhun’s eyelid, making Nichkhun flinched. “Maybe you need to go to the doctor. This doesn’t look good.”
He pulled the eye patch back over his eye and released Nichkhun from his hold. “I will later. I didn’t really think about it.”
“Hey, I wanted to see it.” Wooyoung piped up.
“No. If you see it, you’ll want to punch who ever did that.”
“I wouldn’t ever want to hit Victoria-ssi!”
“Oh my god! She did that to your eye!?”
“Yes....”
“You broke up with her didn’t you?”
“Yes...How--”
“Pfft, It’s pretty common.” Junsu smiled and suddenly clapped his hands. “Oh yea. I almost forgot my reason for coming up here.”
Without another word, he grabbed Wooyoung’s arm and stared walking out the bedroom with him. Nichkhun followed them as they went out the apartment, heading down stairs to Junho’s apartment.
Junsu opened the door to Junho’s place, blocking Wooyoung’s and Nichkhun’s view. He quickly turned around and started walking back, slowly, allowing them to see the inside of Junho’s place.
“Surprise!”
Wooyoung let out a gasp as he saw a banner with his name on it strung along the living room. Taecyeon was grinning wide, showing all his glorious teeth. He was had on a green party hat that had ‘Happy Birthday’ written on it. In his hands was a wrapped box and a yellow party hat that said ‘It’s my Birthday!’. He walked over towards Wooyoung, placing the box down and placing the party hat onto his head. He handed Nichkhun a red hat, which Nichkhun gladly accepted and put on.
“Happy Birthday, Woo.”
Wooyoung smiled and walked inside the room, followed by Nichkhun who closed the door behind them.
Chansung ran up to him and hugged him tightly. “I can’t believe you accepted that jerk back!”
“Yah!” Nichkhun yelled.
“I know, right.” Wooyoung sighed. He brought a hand up and began rubbing at his cheeks, fake crying. “It’s just so sad. Why?”
Chansung laughed and then glared at Nichkhun. “You are so lucky. You just don’t know. He was going to move!”
“What?!”
“Yea. All the way to Busan!”
“Pfft.” Nichkhun started to laugh.
“What’s funny?”
“Nothing. I just love him.”
Chansung made an ‘Ack’ sound and turned his attention to Junsu.
Nichkhun bent over and thump Wooyoung on the ear, causing Wooyoung to rub at his ear.
“What?" He grumbled.
“I’m just happy that you wanted to go to Busan.”
Wooyoung blushed. “And why is that?”
“If you was moving there, which you are not now. I know the exact place you would be going, which I would eventually end up checking out, which would end up with me finding you, which would end up--”
Wooyoung quickly covered his mouth. “You’re wrong....”
Nichkhun chuckled and just nodded his head in agreement even though he loved the red color that was covering Wooyoung’s face.
“Hold on.” Wooyoung turned his head to Chansung. “How did you know?”
Chansung perked an eyebrow. “Mweu?”
“Like I’ve told you before, I hear everything.” Wooyoung leaned to the side to see Junho, coming out of the kitchen with a three tier, white cake that had his name written in blue letters on the top. It had polka-dotted fondant all over it and words that said ‘I love you’. “We need better walls and floors or maybe just a new apartment.”
“Is that mine?”
“Is you’re name Wooyoung or am I mistaken?” Junho chuckled and sat the cake down onto the living room coffee table. Wooyoung quickly followed after him, tugging Nichkhun along with him. Taecyeon, Chansung, and Junho, followed after them.
“Ah, let me get the plates.”
“I’ll get it.” Chansung quickly did a 180 and headed towards the kitchen.
Junho sat down at the table, along with the others, and flipped out his phone. “Ugh, where is he?”
“Who?”
Junho stared wide eyed at Wooyoung. “Jay that’s who! He’s always late. Ugh!”
Just in time, a knock came out the door.
Junho quickly stood up. “There he is.”
He rushed over towards the door and opened it up to a smiling Jay.
“I’m so sorry. I got stuck at work. Kids love me, ya know.”
“Yea, yea, yea. Now come on. Woo is already here.”
“Ha, really?”
He kicked off his shoes and walked over to where the others were. He ruffled Wooyoung’s hair and gave Junsu and Taecyeon a high-five, before he sat down beside Nichkhun.
“Sorry, I’m late. Did I missed much?”
Junsu sat between Wooyoung and Junho. “Nothing much, but them two getting it on.”
Wooyoung sighed. “Oh my god, nothing happened.”
Junsu smiled. “Something would if I didn’t step in.”
“As you see, Nothing new.” Chansung said as he brought back plates and utensils.
He sat down in between Junho and Junsu. “Alright birthday boy, make a wish.”
Wooyoung pouted. “Where’s my candles?”
“We forgot them on the way back. Sorry.”
Wooyoung pouted more.
“If you want to blow something that bad, you--”
Wooyoung quickly clasped a hand over Nichkhun’s mouth, regretting mentioning about the candles.
“Just give me my cake and presents.”
Junho chuckled and started cutting a piece of cake for Wooyoung and everyone else. Once everyone had a slice, Wooyoung spoke up.
“I seriously thought you guys would forget. Heck, I even forgot, until Nichkhun brought it up.”
Nichkhun wrapped an arm around Wooyoung’s shoulder and pulled him close to him. “And this is why we don’t leave you with remembering things.”
Wooyoung tsked and punched Nichkhun in the arm.
“So, have Wooyoung told you yet?”
Nichkhun bit into his slice and looked over at Taecyeon. “About....?”
Taecyeon took a bite of his slice of cake and motion with his body what he meant, cheeks glowing slightly red.
Nichkhun raised an eyebrow at him and quickly slapped his knee. “Oh my god, I forgot about that!”
“What are you guys talking about?” Junho asked, looking between Nichkhun and Taecyeon.
“They're conspiring against us!” Jaebeom huffed, crossing his arms.
Taecyeon whacked Jaebeom on the back of the head, earning a yell from him. “Really, now?”
Jaebeom rub the back of his head and started munching back on his slice of cake, mumbling to himself as he did. Taecyeon sighed and started eating his slice of cake.
“Wait, why do you want to know?” Nichkhun asked, ignoring the others.
Taecyeon almost chocked on his cake. He patted his chest. “Just making conversation.”
Nichkhun laughed.
“I don’t see what’s funny....” Wooyoung grumbled, pouting.
Nichkhun hummed and quickly changed the subject. “Oh, let’s give you your presents.”
“I’ll go first.” Jaebeom said, standing up and reaching in his back pocket. He pulled out a little box that was wrapped in red wrapping paper. He sat back down and slid the box towards, Wooyoung, who happily took it and started to unwrap it.
“I wasn’t sure what to get you, but I think you’ll like it. It suits you.”
Wooyoung poped open the lid to the black box, after unwrapping it, and revealed a phone strap that had a chibi panda as it’s charm. Wooyoung gave off a Chesire smile and reached across Nichkhun to pull Jaebeom into a hug.
“I love it.”
Jaebeom awkwardly hugged back, feeling heat of jealously coming off from Nichkhun. He quickly pulled away, scratching the back of his head shyly. “You’re welcome.”
Junho quickly pulled out his gift and placed it in Wooyoung’s hand. “I got you tickets to go to Australlia for three days. Hotel paid for. Invite whoever you want, just don’t abuse this.... And before you start moaning and groaning, I’ll get you tickets to go somewhere, Chanho.”
Chansung and Junho quickly high-fived each other. “Yes!”
“Oh, Junsu~” Jaebeom called sweetly.
“I didn’t forget about you, Jay.” He smiled sweetly at him.
Taecyeon cleared his throat. “Anyways, my portion is in this too. Just because he’s a pilot, doesn’t mean, he can do anything.”
Wooyoung giggled. “Thanks guys.”
“Aish, what’s you problem?”
Taecyeon ignored his question and sliced him another piece of cake to munch on. Junsu frowned, but decided not to argue with him.
Junho smiled. "I got you ice cream, but I'll give it to you later. It's a lot."
“Your cake is my present.” Chansung laughed. “I was so desperate to put bananas in it, but Junho stopped me every time. I still think it would’ve taste better with bananas....”
“Hmm, I knew it was missing something.”
“See! See!” Chansung yelled, pointing a finger at Junho and bouncing lightly on his butt. “I told you!”
Junho grabbed Chansung’s hand and pulled it down out of his face. “Hyung, why did you say that?!”
“I win!” Chansung said with glee. “You gotta keep your promise now.”
“What’s going on?” Wooyoung asked.
Chansung bounced even more, thinking on what Junho have to keep. “We had this bet that on whether or not you would miss out on the bananas, which you just pointed out, so this concludes that I win and Junho will have to keep his promise to me. I’m so freaking happy, you just don’t know!”
Nichkhun chuckled. “Oh, we can tell.”
“So what does he have to do?”
“He has to--”
Junho quickly covered his mouth with his other hand. “Let’s just continue.... this isn’t about me, but, Wooyoung.”
Wooyoung crossed his arms on the table. “Oh, no, no. This is getting good.”
“Ha, ha, ha.... Anyway, Nichkhun, you got Wooyoung something?”
Nichkhun smile slightly fell as he looked over at Jaebeom, who looked away from him. He scratched the back of his neck. “I got something, but it’s more personal.”
Junho scuffed and crossed his arms in front of his chest. “Fine. Leave us out. It’s not like we are friends.”
Nichkhun rolled his eyes. “You guys will probably hear about it tomorrow.”
Jaebeom shook his head and looked down at his plate. He stuck a finger in the cake and suddenly an idea popped in his mind. Without a word, He stood up, grabbed his plate, walked over towards Wooyoung, and press his piece of cake into Wooyoung’s face.
Jaebeom let out a hardy laugh and stepped back, examining his master piece. White frosting rested on Wooyoung's nose and plump cheeks. A few blue fondant dots were located on his forehead. and cake crumbles were scattered down on his upper lips and chin.
Wooyoung just sat there frozen in place.
The others took a good second to realize what was about to go down and stood up, getting slices of cake for ammo and getting out of Wooyoung’s range. But just before, Nichkhun could even get up, Wooyoung grabbed his arm and turned to smile at him. Nichkhun gulped and tried to tug his arm out of his grip, but Wooyoung held on tight. Wooyoung grabbed his plate and planted it right on top of Nichkhun’s head, pushing his birthday hat out of the way and smearing it all the way down into his beautiful, perfect face.
Nichkhun shivered. “Oh, no you did--”
Wooyoung had grab another slice of cake and smacked it into Nichkhun’s face. Nichkhun took his free hand and wiped off the smeared cake. Wooyoung started laughing, until Nichkhun took his cake-covered hand and high-fived Wooyoung’s face.
Wooyoung released Nichkhun and let out a roar, grabbing fists full of cake in his hands. He stood up and looked around, noticing all his friends running around. He slung one hand of cake, hitting Junsu in the back of the head. Junsu retaliated and grabbed some cake, slinging it back at Wooyoung, but he missed, hitting Junho’s wall.
“Yah! Don’t get it on my walls!”
Wooyoung laughed. “It’s all on your floor. I doubt your walls would matter that much.”
“Let’s take this outside for my apartment sake!”
Everyone agreed and started to head towards the door, hitting each other along the way.
