Inspect. - Dark Water At Nokia Hungary

As you can see, things that happen to one are apparently combined from a few leitmotifs. Great. First thing's first, I'm still working for them - K.'s son was supposed to call Grafton Recruitment, but he forgot, and they called me on Monday (11.00 AM) that I have to go. You're late on informing me, I replied and set off to see my fiancé. Sheesh; in Hungarian you'd say cselédtempó. But the money and the lunch are still good.

It was a truly tiresome day, since I was alone from 11.00 AM until 2.00 PM. The DHL and the UPS guys came by, all the 3 telephones have been ringing at the same time, CWT sent the flight tickets and Zs. sent them back some stuff, a huge packet (33 kg) wasn't properly addressed and hence sent back...and in the afternoon it happened. Somebody called from the 8th floor that there isn't any water in the taps, the machinist made something in the basement and water begun pouring everywhere from the 6th floor. In 20 minutes it was oozing from the ceiling even on the groundfloor! I told my colleagues that a corpse will be found on the rooftop soon, and that it's abnormal that people want to know what's in the cistern. Ya know. The little girl with the little red bag. It was evident, that something like this is going to happen: when I went to the ladies' room I heard that peculiar dripping; an eery sound. I was slightly amused by that, thinking that I'm hallucinating and watched too much X-Files when I was little, and I am far too obsessed with Far Eastern horror movies and Kabuki theater telling nearly everyone how I'm going to write about the topic. I'm fanatic, to be frank. But it's even more hilarious, that I was right this time.

Funny thing is, that people are so stubborn. There was an old man with awful manners who wanted to talk to the Senior Marketing Manager immediately some 30 times in 8 days, and then appeared in person at the reception today, and wanted me to give him the manager's phone numbers [which is forbidden] or to call him and arrange a meeting. Goodness. Why is he unable to understand that:
*giving off numbers is not allowed
*sending in people with whom the manager doesn't have a valid appointment is strictly forbidden
*Mr.D. had a meeting at the very same time
*Mr.D doesn't answer external calls in 99,5% of the cases and prefers e-mails instead
*Mr.D replies to only those e-mails in which the offer is meaningful and/or reasonable
Yes, it's difficult.
And then there was the lady from Paris, who arranged accomodation for Mr.F, who was supposed to take the afternoon flight, but didn't confirm the booking information - the lady called him 10 times, his assistant 7 times and was scared to death - Mr.F didn't pick her up even once [but he picked up the internal calls...] and walked off calmly to catch his plane in the afternoon.

But I learned today that a friend of my mother is still at CWT - I don't like him that much, I never did. But at least my mom was happy to hear about him and the other colleague whom I even met last week.

In spite of that annoying things do happen here, and I'm kind of fed up. *walks off to read Kurosawa's autobiography*
