Intriguing Technique - "Gwargh!" The USB Cable Said
How I truly, really, completely hate these gadgets and their electronic guts around us. Sheesh.
It's only that I got this fab, kitschy new mobile (it's a Sony-Ericsson K500i, but it's actually used and blabla) onto which I wanted to upload several flashy, kitschy things, like the ringtone from Chakushin Ari (One Missed Call de Miike Takashi), Mokona's voice and Mokona backgrounds and Mokona icons, and download my fathers garbage left in the mobile's memory. No way I succeeded with the data cable S. purchased for me.
First, of course it doesn't recognize the phone connected, it's okay, we're used to such phenomena.
Second, it Control Panel doesn't recognize the new option: Phone Monitoring Options (what the heck is that?)
Furthermore, the pop-up window doesn't pop up etc.
It's one huge mess, my computer is another huge mess, and I hate being stupid and not understanding the thing's sensitive soul in order to manage and solve this situation successfully. ?
I aspire to very simple things. A ringtone, a background pic and making all the garbage gone. Anyway, what's the Phone's Lock Number, and why do I need it when I want to delete all contacts from the thing's memory? [What made you think that I'll delete all the 200+ contacts with my own hands one by one?!]
[On the other hand I got back the job at Nokia for one more week, and they mumbled something about next week, too, plus my nailpolish is in a catastrophic state - am I a real secretary now? *grin* - Good news is, how bad I am putting it in brackets, that today helped by prezzey and dead_cabbit I purchased vol. 1-5. of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle! Hyuu hyuu, if you wish.]
