Okay, no more posts this week, zettai ni.
I came home from the city happily, sat down to study words, when A. called me from Grafton whether I could do a minor job, namely substituting for the receptionist at
NextiraOne. Of course I agreed, but it turned out, that the hours are from 8.00 AM till 19.00 PM, and that's a lot. But it is manageable for one day, plus I get paid for the overtime extra.
And the office is right next to the Immigration Office, so I can take the bus line 3, yey.
This means, I'll have to do 3 consecutive classes' homework and practice, study words, and look up Cantonese/Mandarin titles for Wong Kar-Wai's movies, because just a minute after the talk with A., B. called as well, to meet him on Thursday and do the proof-reading. That really is scary, a real meeting, as it is defined in the corporation-dictionary. I'll have to prove how magnificently intelligent I am, they absolutely must hire me. That means reading the entire Planet Hong Kong in 2 days...
Then tomorrow A.'ll call me again, she's a longtime friend of my family, and wants me to tutor her daughter - I really don't know how to teach English to an 11-year old! Anyway, the first class is on Thursday, too. Which'll make me to write the filmtheory paper on Friday-motzei Shabbos and finish it probably on Sunday.
I think I'm telling all these rather myself in order to force myself to believe that brainpower and energy is needed. Bah, I barely have enough energy to stay awake. And I'm not working on a regular basis, like
dead_cabbit does (long hours! ;_;)
Shees...it ocurred to me just now, that I'll have to meet A. (my classmate and opponent) on Thursday to discuss the ideas' development for the consultation on Monday. Nah, it's incredibly busy now.
Next update: Sunday.
