I am! I got hitched in June! We just went to the courthouse because we're poor as church mice, but my parents were there and his father was able to come all the way from South Africa! We're still going through all the interviews and everything (our last one is in two weeks!) but OMG, I seriously never thought this chapter of my life would ever come. It's been really nice but hard too, we both still don't have work and that can be SOOOOOOO rough- but then I think about where I was, and this is still better.

Yeah! We all crammed into my little one bedroom apt. We need a bigger place STAT, but that's not going to happen until we both have gainful employment.

I just realized I never put up any pictures or anything from my wedding now that you mention it. It was a TEENY ceremony because of all the complications and I didn't have a big dress or any of that, but my friend drew a picture, I should put that up!

Well, basically! When I was first laid off I first went back to Cape Town because we needed another visit for So. Af.'s application because it had been almost 2 years since we had seen each other and then after than I went home for an extended visit. After that, it's just been a lot of reconnecting with friends, exploring the city and looking for jobs. I NEED ONE SO BAD. I am really sad we got to the holidays again and I have nothing, because no one hires in these times and now I'll have to wait until 2012!
It's been so long, I hope all it well!
