Ohlookbulletpoints.
  • I watched The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo on Friday, officially breaking my rule of reading the book first. And damn, it was good. Kind of hard to watch, in places, but good. And Noomi Rapace is seriously my new girlcrush. No seriously, look at her. Such a fucking BAMF. And I am kind of embarrassed to say it, but the way she ( Read more... )

Mr. Robb Stark,

What do you think your wedding night with Ange will be like? Go into detail if necessary. XD

fifth meme:

Oh, and make a mix of what Sandor would listen to!

Oh can you say Nine Inch Naaaaaails

--I beg your pardon? You're not asking for - you don't think I would - I don't think that that is something I want to discuss with anyone who isn't Angelique. Not that I'm not - I'll be very happy to be married! Don't misunderstand me. I'm very-

...I think I had better not answer that question.

SO FUCKING GOOD I had to go back and watch them again.

After the "I really hate that name" I think my favorite line is when he lays the smackdown on the dealers and then holds up his gun and is just like "Well. This is awkward." Awww, Dexter. /wrong reaction

Second Meme: Light.

Third Meme: L/Light hate!ship mix.

Fourth Meme: Have you ever cried while watching a movie? What movies have made you cry in the past?

I'll bite on the last meme as well. I could use some nice words. ^_^

The last meme (omg late) is in another comment, so I can share my Light pseudo-canon for ALL TO SEE AHAHAHAHA. And oooh, hateship mixes, I like those.

So LIGHT.

  • Light had a lot of respect for L. There were times when he felt kind of bad that they had to be on opposite sides, and there were times when he even almost liked him. Definitely, he thought he was a worthy opponent, and he was almost disappointed after L died. Everything looked so easy. He was disappointed more by Near and Mello, though, who he doesn't think of as equals.
  • Light is largely disappointed by the people around him. There's a very real 'lonely at the top' feeling when you are that much smarter than everyone around you. I get the feeling that he spent his younger years trying to make connections with other people and it just never worked out because he got too frustrated with people when they weren't on his intelligence level. He has a very low tolerance for stupidity, Light does.
  • Light can't stand sweets. Even less after meeting L, but he has never liked them. And ( ... )

Oooh, fairytales, this will be interesting...I'll have to do some digging on that one, I believe. >> And my parents and sister loved it; the movie was good, I think it's probably worth a try? That's what I'm doing, not that I need more books to read or anything.

First meme, because I'm a nerd:

Mr. Harrowgate, you left off on my first question last time. I'm still curious.

But I think I also need a new question, ne? Let's see... what would you do with your life if magic weren't part of it? Unable to practice it, unable to teach it, nothing.

Does it ever occur to you that perhaps I left off on your first question because I did not want to answer it? No, I suppose not. It seems the only way to get rid of you is to allow your prurient curiosity, is that so?

I don't get rid of them because I don't want to get rid of them. Mostly. I am not always entirely cruel, you know, despite what some people would seem to like to think.

And if I...well, that depends, doesn't it? In this highly hypothetical situation, have I always been without it, or have I lost the ability? Because the latter is a somewhat familiar situation...

*One second plz, laughing* Prurient, eh? I'm going to hope you meant a secondary definition. But... essentially, yes. And yes, it occurred to me. It wasn't that painful, was it?

The latter. The former would pretty much require rewriting half of your life.

Fine, excessively intrusive - next time I'll remember to be more precise with my language, much as I love to entertain you. I think I'll refrain from answering the second question, as I can well guess what answer you're looking for, darling, and gloating is terribly unattractive.

I should think that would be obvious nonetheless, then. I would teach. It wouldn't have to be magic, you know; I do have some knowledge of other, more mundane areas. On the other hand, if I were deemed a threat to the children, as some seem to think, a scholarly life would suit me well enough. Mathematics, perhaps, might be interesting enough.
