More Of Peter Pan

I remember, when I first came to know never land, my concepts of the "real" world were almost completely lost. It wasn’t until I asked Tink, where I truly came from, that she finally showed me reality. I was scared at first, all the people were so different from me, fun was like a lost medium for living, rolls were reversed, people were working to have fun, not having fun while working. It was almost like life, was suffering... I asked Tink on many occasions, why we couldn’t take some of the people to neverland with us, but she always implied, their inability to believe. You see pixies live for millions of years, they are between and beyond, the rifts of time... They were there at the beginning and will live though the end, because they have never known the idea of death. Neverland is not the fountain youth, it is place without the propaganda of organized belief. Tink once told me, the only reason humans die, or grow old, is because it's the only thing they are ever told, their whole lives. It is that train of thought that leads them to seek progress, this is why neverland has never seen technology, the shear fact that there is no hurry to seek progress. Im sure the ignorant would argue, but in some ways neverland is almost a whole different plane of existence. Enough rambling and back to my experience, when you live forever, you don’t have to worry about time frames. Reality is dark, mysterious, and above all fake... People wake up every day and I watch them, complete the same routine, over and over again, until someone has done it so much, that they find a way to make it easier, thus creating progress. In neverland there is no set guide line, you live for free, money as Tink tells me, is a horrible necessity that only begets more money, and more, until it's never enough. She once told me if money were a valid happy thought, then the whole world could fly away, to where ever it wanted. I shudder to think what neverland would be like if that were the truth... You see flight is only a symbol, of true happiness, if one could just find the thing that truly makes them happy, their possibilities would be endless. I reiterate a point in saying, life is suffering, it's only through true happiness that one could fly. On many occasions the Lost Boys, asked me what truly made Peter Pan fly, after countless stories, and play writes, I am now going to tell you, that if it weren’t for meeting her, I would have never been able to fly, without the help of Tink. Tigerlily, was the first girl I met in the real world, contrary to belief she was not part of the Indian tribe. She was just a normal girl, sitting on her roof top one night, she was crying, and asked her why. You see something I never knew existed beyond happiness, was true sadness. Until that night, when Tigerlily looked up at me with her tear glazed eyes, and said, because Im tired of living. Now at this point the concept of life, didn’t really register yet, so I had to pretend I knew what she was talking about. Apparently her family life was never to great, and she was planing on ending it all that night... Fortunate for her she didn’t realize I could fly, as with most my visits to the real world, I would just walk so as not to draw attention. As she approached the end of her roof top, something just compelled me too save her... and I flew without any help from Tinker Bell. Tigerlily was my happy thought, as I road the wind to meet her, I held my hand out, much too her astonishment of coarse, and asked her to come away with me. You see neverland, was open to anyone that was willing to come, and that night Tigerlily came with me. I remember the first night we spent together, just holding her hand with nothing but the wind, and the world beneath us... I tried to show her, how infinite the possibilities of life really could be... And little did I know, that she would show me alittle too... One of the main differences of never land and reality, is that all the attachments of life, were in existent in never land. Hunger eventually struck Tigerlily, and that is when she learned how to fly. We were sitting in my tree, just laughing, and making fun of the mermaids, and she looked at me and said, "Peter what do you eat..." The problem, that I had lived in never land so long, I had forgot so much of the needs and requirements, of living in the real world. So I looked at Tigerlily and said, all you’ll ever have to do if you ever need anything, is use your imagination. you see, the imagination, is one of our most powerful gifts, because without it, we'd just be mindless drones, working for money. Tigerlily loked up at me, after saying, grabbed my hand, and we took flight... Off into the neverland sunset.
