Operation clean keyboard may have been:
a) A massive success
b) A massive failure
And in brutal honesty I don't care if it's either of those options, because the thing has outlived its welcome after more than five years. Yes, there was five years' worth of grit down there (of course I wipe the thing every week, but stuff got IN) and I eventually removed every key and just went in there with... water and soap.
Yeah.
I smell massive failure, because after I realized I'd probably fucked up and just opened the thing up entirely from the back I noticed that the touchpad-power circuit was a different color in some parts...

But hey, it was SICK FUN. I really do have this sick fetish for going at computers with screwdrivers, opening them up and just cleaning up their fans and shit. I do so derive my nerdly pleasures from seeing their beautiful innards. Uh. Uh uh. I guess it's just a result of being a nerdy retard and having caught my mother's OCD.
