travel plans & Lamby is <3
I bought my plane tickets. goodbye $260. woo! so, I'm leaving for San Francisco on April 16th & then coming back on Tuesday, the 28th. the interview is on Saturday, the 18th, so I figure I'll get there Thursday afternoon, spend that night & Friday just hanging out with my Dad & Yupadee & relaxing and panicking preparing for the big day... then after the interview Saturday (& hopefully also Sunday!) I'll run around SF for a few days.
I talked to Stacey & we're trying to figure out how and when I can get up to her house so that I can spend a few days with her and the kids. I really want to spend some more time with them, I've only ever seen them 3 times & they're growing up so fast. I want to go see my grandmother while I'm there too... I'm thinking maybe we can drive out there the next Saturday, hopefully. I'm definitely going to use one of my free days while Dad is at work to hit up Nihon machi though... I always end up going there at least twice every time I'm out there, mainly looking at everything in Kinokuniya... and eating taiyaki :D I also need to decide which museums I want to try to get to this time, I've been to the Asian Art Museum twice, so I may skip it this time & go for the DeYoung or something (depending on the current exhibits). but yay! I'm glad I have my plane tickets now, at least it feels like one thing is out of the way & I don't have to worry about getting that done any more. ^_^
in other news - today is Tuesday! YAY! it's sad that Tuesday has now become my favorite day of the week... oh, well. Happy Adam Day to all! is it 8, yet? *taps nails* if anyone had ever told me that I would be counting down the hours til American Idol was on, I absolutely would have thought they were on crack... oh, Lambchop, what have you done to me? <3 I can't wait to see what he does for tonight's show... the theme is supposed to be iTunes top downloads... which means it could be anything - and Adam can sing anything & make it brilliant, so it'll be awesome. yay!
