Olivia giggled, slapping a hand over her mouth as she tiptoed into the mansion. Alex was behind her, dangerously close to falling thanks to his long limbs (and the bottle of vodka they had finished off together at the bar) “Will you be quiet!?” she hissed before bumping into an end table and bursting into a another giggle fit.
Alex opened his mouth to speak but flinched a little as the lights snapped on, revealing a somewhat annoyed Mandy standing in the doorway.
“There’s no need for the little sisterly warning, Olivia. We heard you two klutzes all the way upstairs.”
Alex snorted. “Really? I’m surprised you two could hear anything, the way you two go at it. Kinda sound like dying wildebeests.”
“He’s drunk,” Olivia said quickly, hoping to save him from yet another trip to the dungeon. Her brother really did have a knack for pissing Mandy off.
Mandy rolled her eyes. “Oh I had no idea,” she said sarcastically before smirking. “And who says it was just the two of us?”
“You have company?” Olivia raised an eyebrow. “You never mentioned anyone coming to visit before.”
“That’s because this is my house, and I can let whoever the hell I want in it, Liv,” she said icily, stepping closer to her and tracing her cheek. “You know, sometimes I think you forget who made you.”
Olivia tried not to shiver, a wave of guilt washing over her as she looked down, avoiding eye contact with Alex before murmuring. “I know you did.”
Mandy smirked. “I’m sorry, what was that?”
“You did,” Olivia said, not bothering to cover the annoyance in her voice. “Is there anything you want, Mandy, because I’d really rather get that over and done with as quickly as possible.”
Her grip on Olivia’s face tightened on her face momentarily and she felt Alex’s rage building in the pit of her own stomach but Mandy shoved her away quickly, sending her stumbling back against the wall. “Don’t act like you don’t like it,” Mandy purred, just close enough for a tease of a kiss. “You love it, even if I hear Alex’s name being moaned down your side of the hall an awful lot these days.”
“Shut the hell up,” Alex growled, walking over and standing between the two of them, sliding an arm protectively around Olivia‘s waist. “You don’t know what you’re talking about, bitch.”
Mandy laughed. “Do you really wanna do this again, Alex? I’m sure the cuts I gave you yesterday haven’t even healed yet. Besides been trying to tell you, I know someone who can definitely relate to you two and your… relationship.” She rolled the last word around on her tongue like it was a piece of slowly melting chocolate she wanted to savor before smirking and glancing up at the top of the stairs. “Bastian, get your butt out here! I know you’ve been eavesdropping anyway you little, bastard.”
“Moi?” A man she had never seen feigned an innocent look as he walked down the staircase with a blonde woman trailing behind him. “It was all Gabby’s idea, she forced me.”
“Oh, I bet she’s forced you to do lots of things,” Mandy said smugly, walking over to them. “And guys? Meet Olivia and her brother, Alex.”
The woman’s face light up and she leaned over and murmured in her companions ear, “Well, aren’t they a pretty pair…”
“Very pretty,” he agreed. “Think they’re fucking too, Gabby?”
“We can hear you, you know,” Olivia snapped, the alcohol in her system giving her more courage than usual . “And I really don’t think it’s any of your damn business considering I‘ve never even seen you before.”
“I think that’s a yes.” Gabby giggled, tracing his shoulder. “Can’t say I blame her, he’s very pretty.”
“I wouldn’t mind a go.”
Alex‘s eyes widened and he tightened his grip on Olivia‘s waist. “What the hell is your… do you and your little girlfriend just fuck everything that moves!?”
Sebastian grinned. “She’s my sister, can’t you tell?”
Olivia’s eyes widened and Mandy smirked with satisfaction. “Well, I think I’ve finally found a way to shut these two up.”
