Title: That Sinking Feeling
Fandom/Verse:Supernatural: The Devil's in the Details
Characters/Pairings:Lilly & Addison
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Supernatural's Kripke's, but Lilly, Addison, and Dodger are property of vylentcrymz and I
Prompt: 100songs: Silver and Cold
Note: A bit of teen!Lilly as her past was kind of surprising and I sort of wanted to dabble in her relationship with Addison a bit. It has some serious foreshadowing to Addison and Lilly's sub plot And though I make a bit of a joke about her, I've always sort of pictured Addy looking a hell of a lot like Amy Lee. You know, just for pretty reference. :P Also bleh, kinda not how I wanted this one to come out, but it's 3 AM and Amy gave me Addison bunnies.

Table is here.

As Lilly hears a strange blend of metal and opera echoing off the blue tiled walls as she walks into the club, and she nearly rolls her eyes. Trust the vampire goth wannabes to pick something as predictable as that poser Amy Lee.

Then again, she shouldn't be one to judge. She has hair any California surfer girl would envy under this thick layer of black dye she had slapped on it the month before, even if her skin has always had that pale glow they all seemed to strive for. She's an imposter, the same as them. They all seem to be running from some kind of demons, but she has the advantage. Her inner demons are sort of real.

Lilly's black heeled mary janes echo on the dance floor for a good five minutes before she finally locates Addison, swaying to the beat like a modern day Mortita Adams.

"You're late," she says breathlessly as the song changes. "Damien was asking for you."

This time she really does roll her eyes. "Damien's real name is Henry, I don't know why he doesn't just use it."

"Not all of us are born with names that make us sound like we stepped off the set of The Munsters, Lil."

"Yours makes you sound like some fancy lawyer or something, Addy," she teases.

Icy blue eyes narrow on her before Addison says in an equally cold tone. "It's Raven."

Lilly smiles for the first time since she walked in, amused. "You know that's not very creative. If we're going with the classic TV analogy, you sound like a Cosby kid."

"Did you come here to dance, mock me, or both?"

"You know what I came here for."

Addison brightens, looking more like a kid on Christmas morning than the vampiress she paints herself up to be. "Magic talk, huh? You've got a bit of addiction, Lil. Did you try those meditation techniques I sent you?"

Lilly nods before Addison slips her hand in hers and pulls her off the dance floor. "God, you are so my student. I'm like your Yoda!"

"Just don't start talking in riddles. I can't understand you half the time as it is."

Addison laughs, slapping her playfully. "Brat. Have you been thinking about what we talked about?"

It's a simple question, but as soon as her friend asks it, Lilly's playful mood fades and her stomach starts to knot. "Yeah, that's sorta why I came," she mumbles awkwardly.

"Well, you still wanna do it, right?" Addison chirps. "Because I got all the supplies. Man, I can't wait. This is big, Lil. Like the biggest thing we've ever done."

"I know, that's why we can't do it."

Addison stares at her, unblinking and impatient. "What do you mean we can't do it? You were so into this last weekend."

"This is dangerous."

"We're just gonna talk to your mom. We're not gonna go off the deep end and do some gross zombie deal. We're just going to open the gap and-"

"Exactly," Lilly cut in. "We're going to open something we can't close. I barely know what the hell I'm doing, Addy! And you're not much better than I am. We shouldn't be fucking around with this stuff."

"Oh, really!?" Addison's hards are on her hips by this point, one of them jutting out at Lilly almost accusingly. If it weren't for the flared black skirt and red corset, she would probably look more like a pissed off cheerleader than a princess of darkness. "You're the one who asked me about this stuff, Lil. You came to me. You asked me how to do it and now you're bailing?! You're the one whose fucking around! I know exactly what I'm doing!"

"You're going to get hurt, Addison. I know you want to talk to your brother but-"

"Don't talk about Christian."

Lilly bites her lip, but knows she can't bite her tongue. "I know, I suck for bailing and you I know you have good intentions, but I'm serious. There are some things... we just shouldn't mess with, okay? You have to trust me on this."

"Why should I when you don't trust me?"

She opens her mouth to speak, but it's too late. Addison's already been swallowed up into the crowd, the pouding music, and sweaty crowd. As she pushes open the door of the club and lets the light of a street lamp lead the way home. Lilly murmurs a prayer that Addison won't do anything stupid, but deep down she knows it's in vain.

She just hopes she'll be strong enough to bail her out of whatever mess Addison gets herself into.
