So, "The Vampire Diaries"...

Is anyone on my flist watching this show? I have to admit, I'm not impressed. At all.
But somehow, I keep tuning in. I think it has something to do with Steven R. McQueen's acting (Grandson of actor Steve McQueen, how cool is that?) and Ian Somerhalder.

Two things I took away from last night's episode.

YOUR ICON! I love Topher and I love Sierra so that's kind of the most happymaking thing ever. *sigh* Oh my show. I hope this season lives up to my expectations

I love that scene so much... like the whole episode is completely hilarious between those two and then you find out...it's his birthday. Break. My. Heart. I love him. Love love love.

I have no expectations when it comes to telvision these days. At all. That sort of detached attitude seems to be working for me. I must say though, I saw the 13th episode yesterday and I totally loved it. If they're going in that direction as the endgame for the series-then I would be a big fan of that.

I KNOW! It's like.. Okay yes, Topher you're kind of a creeper... but you're also the kind of person we identify with as geeks which is kind of creepy... and Topher totally watches BSG, awww. *pets him*

Yeah, well... I mean my expectation is "good enough to survive another season" and then... well... yeah Epitaph One was amazing... And that is what they are going for apparently.

He IS kind of a creeper...have I mentioned I love him? LOL. And you're right, it is the inner geek in him that is so easy to identify with. Doesn't he say "frakking" at some point?

Oh, I get ya. That's always a concern with FOX :/ I'm still riding the high that THIS season got picked up though! Yes, Epitaph One was spine chillingly good for me. It was kind of like getting this secret pass to see into the future and the actors they chose for the roles were so spot on. Just awesome stuff.
