It's Friday Morning at my Desk. Who wants to Work? Not this Gal.
So, "The Vampire Diaries"...
Is anyone on my flist watching this show? I have to admit, I'm not impressed. At all.
But somehow, I keep tuning in. I think it has something to do with Steven R. McQueen's acting (Grandson of actor Steve McQueen, how cool is that?) and Ian Somerhalder.
Two things I took away from last night's episode.
1) You know you've been overexposed to the Twilight phenom when you find yourself thrilled that these vampires, you know, drink blood , have fangs, and don't sparkle. Remember when these were staples of vampire lore? So do I. But just barely. I miss you Buffy.
2) I think I ship this:
Though I haven't decided if it is in a romantic way or in a "I hope he stalks and terrorizes this chick to death because it's the only thing that makes her interesting" kind of way. We'll see.
In other television news, who else is excited about this tonight?:
Woo, I cannot wait! I wanted to use one of the promo pics of Jamie here so badly but they're probably still considered spoilers so I refrained. Barely. I'm going to need icons. Eeee! Thank you, Dollhouse, for bringing him back to my small screen so promptly. *loves Joss*
Oh, and lastly, anyone watch The Office last night? That....was not very funny. If it weren't for the "Darryl vs. Toby and Dwight" worker's comp storyline I would have fallen asleep. Sad. :(
