Hey girl!!! Loving yopur list (except for Sydney/Vaughn... I don't know, I never liked Vaughn very much...). And of course... Kara and Lee THE BEST FICTIONAL COUPLE EVER!!!! (why so many people seem to dislike them??I don't understand... In my RL I don't know anybody who ships them, can you believe that? Sigh).

I remember really loving Syndey/Vaughn but it's been so long that I put them there but I don't know that I feel it like I used to. Maybe I need a rewatch.

Kara/Lee pulled me in like no other. They're unforgettable. Long hiatus after long hiatus and I always came back for more.

I have no idea why people seem to dislike them. Maybe because they're feelings in general and towards eachother tend to be subtle and layered and messy and perhaps most people don't want to deal with that? I've noticed most people tend to ship the couples that come easy, the obvious choices. The canon pairings. I know Kara and Lee are technically a canon pairing and then again they kind of...aren't. They're like television's first non-canon/canon pairing. I think that's why not everyone loves them but those who do cling SO hard.
What am I rambling about? LOL, sorry about that....

So true. They totally broke all the "rules", which is why I love them so much! :D

Oh, I love the rambling too, ( And I always love hearing your insights specifically) I'm just not always capable of it myself. And then there;s those other times....lol

So I guess it is much easier to ship more canonical couples

Exactly! I think it's easier to ship two people who are "destined" for eachother from the start or who seem obvious for eachother. Lee and Kara were the opposite and anything but, They were perfectly WRONG for each other from "What was he to me, nothing?" And yet they were two halves of one whole so they couldn't stay away from eachother despite that. And all that messy pain and need? THAT is what I call romantic. The masses can keep their perfect fairy tale romances. I like my happy endings to be earned. (Which their's TOTALLY was and why the Daybreak/Poof was such a gigantic betrayal.)

they can self-destructive and cruel with each other, they hurt other people because of their feelingsFrom what I can tell from the internetz over the years, you've hit the nail on the head here. This is the reason a lot of ( ... )
