exhaustion
Ugh, I feel like crap from a combination of a cold and allergies. It sucks because I have no energy for work and I need to be alert and taking a lot of information in since my coworker Aubree is leaving for her trip tomorrow. I think for the most part I have everything together but the real test is doing everything by myself. We'll see how it goes.
I'm so excited about seeing Velvet Revolver with Fred this Saturday!!! It's also gonna be Cinco de Mayo so I'm gonna try and eat lots of yummy Mexican food as well. Speaking of Fred, he's back from his UK business trip and he kindly got me some fabulous souvenirs: 2 magnets (one from London and one from Scotland) and a black Harrods tote. From what he's told me, it's insanely expensive there so he's definitely glad to be back home.
Finally signed up for health benefits at work: opted for the $20 copay Kaiser plan. I am in desperate need of making eye & OB appts. And in true Emily fashion, I always wait till the last minute to schedule them, thus stressing me out. I have so much on my mind that those 2 things are always the last things I remember.
Looking forward to the Canucks game tonight although I always get nervous right before them. I'm happy the Sharks won last night and now it's time for my team to kick some ass! I swear if both the Sharks & Canucks advance to the 3rd round, I'm so getting myself a ticket even if it's insanely expensive. I'll cross that bridge when it comes though.
