(no subject)
finally redgistered for next semester. looks like i'll have loads of free time, which is freaking awesome!
i'm actually planning to leave right after exams--fly to moscow and then take a train to Minsk. i can't wait--this is just way too exciting. Finally i'll be able to see all of my family, mainly grandma. she's an interesting lady--old and very sick with 2 strokes, virtually nonfunctioning kidneys, high blood pressure and who knows what else. lived through WWII in the very midst of it. widowed early in life, so had to take care of 3 kids on her own--in USSR!!! which is not something that would be achievable by an average person at the time. I have all the respect in the world for her. so i'm deffinetely very excited to see her, and to meet the rest of my family that i was not allowed to meet before (my mother doesn't want anything to do with them). But they are still my family, the least i can do is meet them. i think i'm gonna spend about a month over there. gonna leave around April 20th...
