Shutter Island has just opened in the US and is enjoying a reign at the box office. Biggest debut weekend for any Scorsese pic (previous one being The Departed) and for Leo too (even topping Titanic).

I am thrilled.

THE DEPARTED WON FOR BEST PICTURE!!

Martin Scorsese finally WON for Best Director.

Leo didn't win, but I am thrilled that The Departed won for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay and Film Editing.
