Yadda Yadda..
So I spent about eight or so hours working on the character I wanted to play in LRA C/A. I went over it with some people to make sure everyhing looked peachy keen. Finally I felt like the character was ready and I sent it in to get approved...
While I think the turn around time for character approval is incredibly fast, I unfortunately have a few complaints:
A. Some people have these things called REAL LIFE. REAL LIFE doesn't give some of us enough time to spend a vast amount of time researching every little fucking detail. It's an elder. I have the ability to play the elder. I am a good role player. I am a responsible role player. I provided the exact information that is required when turning in an application. It makes no sense to deny the elder part of the character.
B. I know my god damn history I researched for 5 of those 8 hours. Never.. ever.. tell me I am wrong. Just because I said there were romans does NOT mean that the roman empire controled the area. Way to assume the wrong thing.
C. Being narcissistic does not mean you cannot also be honorable. If you would bother to read any of the literature from that time you'd find that many people were considered to be virtuous and full of themselves yet still upheld honor in the highest esteeme. It was a very clever combination of personality in which I can pull off and it would have been fun for everyone around me.
D. Okay so I didn't provide the most detailed little nit picky thing.. so what.. I answered the questions and felt fairly long winded with it. I honestly do not feel that anything needs to be changed. If I changed anything at all it would make the character completely different.
The only two things getting apped for was the generation and the path (which could have been the road but I didn't think that was legal to be played). I see absolutely no reason why the generation was denied. The path.. fine fuck you I can do that without being on it because I am a good Rper.
How annoying.. I don't even want to play now. Maybe next month I'll change my mind and send Miette up for approval.. no worries she'll only have 8th gen............ *innocent smile*
