So this Creative Life thing is getting challenging! How can I represent my creative life 20 ways?
Strangely. So this fits in the "I could make something with that" compulsion. I think of it as "Seth in SPACE!" The 4" by 4" (10.1 cm by 10.1 cm) square is covered in black and metallic papers with a variety of things with reflect and refract light and has a lot of texture. So, it looks spacelike, futuristic and different depending on angle of incidence of light. On top of this, I have a reproduction of my illustration of Seth, the Egyptian God of Confusion, with anhk and whatchamacallit (I've forgotten. It did take a course once in Ancient Egyptian Religion. Pretty sure I was the only physics major. Anyway, the symbols mean "life, prosperity, health!" and are a standard greeting.) The back is made of a variety of papers and the oudjat eyes.
I love that the Ancient Egyptians worshiped Confusion, or Chaos and knew that Seth was a necessary counterpoint to Horus (or order). Because order without chaos cannot support life or creativity. So, we have the ancient and the modern, the scientific and the mythic.
Dear Lady Redjeep,
The spelling in this post is particularly dubious and I cannot vouch for it.
sincerely,

p.s. the other nifty thing about Seth is that NOBODY knows what sort of animal he represents. Perhaps, as suits Chaos, his head itself is a composite creature! Though, he might be a mouse, an anteater, a donkey or some such. Maybe a tapir! Cause tapirs are cool. Anyway, a lot of Seth artifacts were destroyed due to later-day biases.
