As Ginny watches Harry walking away from her, she feels something strange: a sharp pain right through the heart, as if someone has cast a Stinging Hex on her.
It hurts in a way she's never hurt before. It makes her want to scream in rage, catch up with him and cast a variety of hexes on him, until he's in as much pain as she is. She wants him to suffer. She wants him to feel in his own flesh what's like to be rejected.
And dully she wonders if Michael or Dean ever felt the same towards her.
