---

A typical Saturday morning for Minho would consist of various chores around the hostel. He’d always make a show of groaning and complaining whenever his mom would toss him the towel and bucket and tells him to get busy, but he would always finish his tasks diligently nonetheless. As he was mopping the first-floor with his iPod plugged in his ears, he did not notice the stranger that stepped inside.

“Ahem!” The stranger cleared his throat and removed his sunglasses. His face twisted in annoyance when he was clearly ignored. “Excuse me!” He raised his voice.

Minho quickly turned towards the voice and paused his mopping. He stared at the man in front of him with a frown and cocked eyebrow. The man was dressed much too nicely to be a future guest of the hostel. Heck, Minho bet that this guy has enough money to build ten hostels of his own. “Can I help you?” He asked as he removed his earphones.

“Yes, I’m looking for someone that’s currently boarding here,” The man ran his hand through his hair in a smug manner that bothered Minho to no end, “Is there a boarder here named Lee…?”

“Jonghyun-sshi!” A soft but distinct voice interrupted their conversation. All eyes immediately fell upon Taemin as he stepped downstairs with a shocked expression, “Wh-what are you doing here? How d-d-did you find me?”

This so-called Jonghyun marched right up to the young teacher and stood far too close to Taemin for Minho’s liking. He suddenly raised his hand as if he was going to strike Taemin across the face, but instead of delivering the blow, his hand stopped mere centimeters away from Taemin’s cheek.

Taemin looked as if he was ready to have a heart attack, but he did not budge as Jonghyun’s hand gripped the back of his neck and pulled him forward. A barely audible gasp escaped the plump lips as rough ones forced their dominance upon them. Taemin had could barely think as Jonghyun tried to shove his tongue down his throat shamelessly.

Abruptly, a loud and wet sound interrupted the kissing affair. Jonghyun frowned and slowly pulled away from Taemin when he felt something wet at the back of his head. He whirled around with a fierce expression and stared at the dirty and wet towel that laid on the floor. “What the fuck?” He growled at the culprit who did not look a slight bit afraid.

“Forcing yourself on someone is considered a crime. So, if you don’t want me to call the cops on you, I’d suggest you stop.” Minho’s deep voice and burning gaze would have made anyone scared out of their wits, but not Jonghyun.

The latter smirked as he wiped the droplets of dirty water from the back of his head with his hand. He strode up to Minho with confidence and used that same hand to smack the boy lightly across the face several times. “And what do you think would really happen if the cops were here? Would they believe you or would they believe me when I tell them that you’re a delinquent looking for a little attention?” He smirked at Minho’s fury and turned around to face Taemin, “And what would Taeminnie say? That his lover came to visit him but he’s being rudely interrupted by some snotty nosed kid who can’t keep his mouth shut?”

“You…!” Minho stepped forward with full intentions of knocking Jonghyun out.

“That’s enough!” Taemin raised his voice to the surprise of everyone, “The both of you, act your age! Jonghyun-sshi, stop being rude and picking on someone younger than you. Minho-sshi, please stay out of this, it’s not your problem.” Taemin huffed and place his hands on his hips in a very teacherly-sort-of-way.

“Hot.” Was all that came out of Jonghyun’s mouth as he stared at the young teacher. Even Minho had to agree.

Taemin sighed and shook his head as he took Jonghyun’s arm and led him out the door. “Teacher Lee…” Minho grabbed his hand when Taemin brushed by him. The said teacher gave him a small smile and told him he’ll be back soon. Minho couldn’t help but feel a little heartbroken as he watched Taemin leave in Jonghyun’s sports car.

---

“So, do you always attract high school boys or is it just me?” Jonghyun glanced at Taemin who shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

“It’s not like that.” He mumbled and looked out the car’s window.

“Then, good! Because I’m not about to hand you over to some seventeen year-old who’s in desperate need of a haircut.” Jonghyun took his right hand off the wheel and laced his fingers in Taemin’s hand. He pulled up the delicate hand and placed a kiss on its back. But, he frowned when the hand slipped from his own and Taemin who quickly folded his arms across his chest.

“You’re only eighteen, Jonghyun-sshi,” This made the former pout in an uncharacteristic manner, “And I’m not yours, Jonghyun-sshi. The only reason why I followed you is to tell you that you can’t come see me anymore.” Taemin kept his voice as steady as he could. His eyes still trained on the random cars that passed by his window.

“Oh, really?” Jonghyun growled and suddenly stepped on the gas pedal, making the car lurch forward at a dangerous speed. This earned a loud gasp and a fearful expression from Taemin.

“What are you doing? Slow down!” Taemin choked as he saw the rising numbers of the speedometer.

Almost as sudden as it had started, the car’s speed immediately dropped before they came to a painful halt at the side of the streets. “Look at me in the eyes when you say that!” Jonghyun yelled as he turned his whole body towards Taemin, “Look at me in the eyes when you say you fucking don’t want to see me anymore.”

Taemin couldn’t do it, tears were already brimming his eyes as he kept them low on his lap. Large hands gripped his shoulders and he was forced to face his former student. “Look at me, Teacher Lee. Look at me and tell me you don’t want to see me anymore. Say it.” His voice was gentler when he saw the tears that should never be on such a beautiful face.

“I don’t…” Taemin sobbed as he looked directly into Jonghyun’s fiery eyes.

The latter sighed and pulled Taemin into his arms. He rubbed his back lovingly and kissed his hair, “Ssshh, shut up. Stop saying things you know you don’t want.”

After Taemin’s sobs have been reduced to small hiccups, Jonghyun continued, “Move in with me.”

“No.” Taemin’s voice was weak but firm at the same time.

“Move in with me, or I’ll transfer to your school.” Jonghyun stated flatly.

Taemin pulled back and pursed his lips, “Your father would never let you. You only have a semester left before you graduate, anyways.”

“That old man can’t control me anymore.” Jonghyun scoffed and rolled his eyes.

“What are you talking about, Jonghyun-sshi? He’s still your father.”

“Ah, you haven’t heard. I’ve been kicked out of his house.”

“You what?”

“I’ve been kicked out. I just couldn’t live up to the old fart’s expectations, so I’m not a part of that stupid family anymore.”

Taemin was stunned to say the least and he half-expected Jonghyun to laugh out loud and tell him he was kidding.

“But, good news is my mom still manages to sneak away money for me, so it makes zero difference to me. I even have my own flat now, which would be perfect for the two of us.” He grinned at Taemin who was staring back at him as if he’s sprouted a second head.

Kim Jonghyun was the proud heir of the Kim Corporations, which dominated most of the Asian market. He was raised for the sole purpose of succeeding his father, Kim Jongho, and to expand the business on a global scale. If the business world were to find out that he was no longer in line for succeeding the company, all hell would break loose.

Taemin blinked several times as he tried to process that information. Not only had he been successful in seducing the prized son of a powerful corporation, but also was one step away from ruining the economy. He abruptly unbuckled his seat belt and stepped out of the car.

Jonghyun was too shocked at his former teacher’s action that it took him ten whole seconds to respond. When he came back to his senses, he rushed out after Taemin and screamed his name.

Taemin ignored Jonghyun and broke out in a jog that soon progressed into a run. The shorter Jonghyun found that he was no match for a race against his teacher, so he decided to stop. He panted as he watched Taemin’s skinny form slowly disappeared around the block.

A lady who witnessed the entire ordeal urged her husband to call the police, “That poor adorable girl was running for her life, honey! What if that guy was a rapist?” She was quickly hushed by her husband who told her to stop being nosey and that those two were probably just a couple of quarrelling lovers.

---

Taemin eventually made it back to the hostel before night came. As he approached the gates, he noticed someone sitting outside on the steps.

Minho immediately stood up when he saw that his teacher was home. “Welcome back,” he said in a shy manner that brought a smile to Taemin’s lips.

“Were you waiting for me?” Taemin asked.

“Errr, yeah. I was just worried…” Minho rubbed the back of his neck and shuffled his feet.

“I’m fine. I’m sorry about earlier. Jonghyun’s a bit ridiculous sometimes.”

“Are you two really…?”

Taemin cut him off with the biggest smile Minho had ever seen from his young teacher, “I’m starving! Let’s go inside and have dinner!”

A bit flustered by Taemin’s enthusiastic grin, Minho merely nodded and led them inside. He didn’t catch the faltered smile as soon as his back was turned. He also didn’t notice the subtle change of color in Taemin’s eyes.
