the new LJ ToS
Having read the Russian Federation articles that are cited, having asked LJ what it means that Paid Services are not subjected to this agreement, and having gotten the opinions of various folks, my stance on the new LJ ToS is "this will affect SOME users, but my personal risk is absurdly low."
And I'm already on DW anyway.

On their main page, you can pay to do unlimited quantities of your LJ (otherwise you can only do about 6 months). You do have to provide your password. You can easily change your password after you successfully acquire The Thing (& I would say you should do that).
