Free trade is not Good, nor is it Bad.  USTR and Herr Bush won't tell you so, but it does lose jobs.  Lots of them.  It also increases GDP and total trade.  And those jobs are going, whether we get anything in the deal or not.  Globalization is coming at us, and it's moving a hell of a lot faster than anything happens ( Read more... )

The summer after freshman year of college is curious.
I have now experienced about as much of college and as I have of life.  In three times what I have done of each, I will be finished with each.
