It looks like it may be in my sister's best interest to file for bankruptcy, and while some legal matters can be handled without a lawyer, it seems this one would be unadvisable to do so.  My sister doesn't have much money to pay a lawyer (thus the need to file).  So we went through bankruptcy.gov which lead us to the American Bar Association site ( Read more... )
