So it's March and the last time I did this was December. My bad.
Quick updates on life:
--I thought about rushing, I went to recruitment and decided that it wasn't something I wanted to do. I liked the girls, that I never had a problem with, it just wasn't my thing.
--I applied to be an RA. I went to the first interview which was more like team building activities, like stuff that we did in peer helpers. That was actually a lot of fun. Then I got an e-mail to get a personal interview, which only 30 people got. So I was excited about that. I went to that, I think it went well, but I have never been a good judge with those things. Now I'm just in the place where I have to wait. Which sucks, but come March 12th, I'll get an answer. I've rationalized it, if I get the RA position, I get my own room and I'm able to live on campus and that would be great. If I don't get it, then I can work at echo next winter. Either way I win and lose a little bit. If I do get the RA position, I have to give up Echo, which would kind of suck. I enjoy the time that I'm there and getting to know the other lifeguards. Even though sometimes we go crazy (legit lose our minds) I really do enjoy it and I would be sad to lose my echo family.
--Last Friday was my birthday. Nothing crazy, just some friends and a good time. It's just weird to think that I'm 20 now. On the plus, Victoria made me cupcakes which were so good.
--Babies have spring break this week so I'm glad I get to see most of them.
--It's almost spring break, which means midterms, but also means a light at the end of the tunnel. I'll be glad to not have to go to class and do school work for a week. I'll be thrilled to sleep in my own bed and play with my puppy (who really isn't a puppy anymore) on a daily basis.
You would think that I would have more to say, but I really don't.
