Yesterday, the very large mops got turned back into prissy little scotties. Flood got her nails trimmed. They all have soft, clean, extremely pettable coats. And silly looking neck bandanas ( Read more... )

Saturday was a mix of indulgence and industry.

I got out of bed well before noon, in order to get to the birthday party at my salon. I got a paraffin treatment for my hands, chatted with my nail tech, had a cup of punch, and wished them all well. Didn't win a door prize. Didn't eat any cake. Go me. ;)

I managed to sleep last night. Yay. I woke up at 7am, then 8am, then at 9am our neighbor returned our keys. I got enough sleep that I was feeling much better again, but I called the doctor's office anyway. Then I had a nice breakfast and read the paper until it was time to dress and go to the doctor.
