Hausse des frais de scolarité
Last Thursday, we had a general meeting at school for the ESG students (management, accounting, human resources...). Out of 12 000 students, almost 3000 were there to vote for/against a strike from our faculty, which is A LOT. Usually, we're about 50 in the assembly, but now, a lot of people were mobilized for the cause. I don't actually care if the government wants to increases the school fees, but I do know that for many people, they won't have access to higher education anymore because they can't afford it. The school fees in Quebec is one of the lowest in developed countries, but I was proud to say that it was because we wanted to invest into the future, into education, into development. Je ne suis pas contre la hausse des frais des scolarité, je suis pour l'indexation des frais sur le coût de la vie.
Well, now I had to go back and study! ;)
